K.K. Senthil Kumar is a dynamic cinematographer who burst onto the international scene with his latest work on the critically acclaimed RRR, for director S.S. Rajamouli. The film garnered over 60 wins and 100 nominations, including 5 nominations and one win for Kumar’s electric cinematography.

 

Kumar frequently collaborates with director Rajamouli, having shot Thief of Yama, Magadheera, and Baahubali: The Beginning, all of which Kumar earned an award for Best Cinematographer at the CineMAA Awards. Other works with director Rajamouli include Eega and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, both of which Kumar earned an award for Best Cinematographer at the South Indian International Movie Awards.

 

Other work from Kumar includes Vijetha for director Rakesh Sashi, Rough for director C.H. Subba Reddy, Golkonda High School for director Mohana Krisha Indraganti, and Arundhati for director Kodi Ramakrishna, for which Kumar received a CineMAA Award for Best Cinematographer.
