paul watts

Paul Watts is a British film editor known for cutting the acclaimed Under the Skin for A24, which premiered at Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for a BAFTA.

 

Watts frequently collaborates with director Jonathan Glazer, having cut his short, The Fall, and most recently the A24 feature, The Zone of Interest, starring Sandra Hüller and Christian Friedel, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival and won the Grand Prix award. His other work includes The Marriage of Reason & Squalor for the Chapman Brothers starring Rhys Ifans, Strasbourg 1518 for BBC Films, and Keeping Rosy for director Steve Reeves, which was nominated for a British Independent Film Award.

 

Outside of the realm of features, Watts has extensive commercial experience, having cut for brands including Facebook, Nike, Hennessy, National Lottery, and Volkswagen, amongst many others. He has accumulated numerous awards over the years including British Television Advertising arrows, D&AD pencils, Creative Circles, Cannes lions and Clios.
