Michael Cambio Fernandez is a Los Angeles based Cinematographer.
He had his first breakout film in 2017 with The Burial Of Kojo, which was acquired by Ava DuVernay's Array and recently added to the Criterion Collection. He was recognized by the ASC and its membership as a rising star in 2022 and Vogue Mexico as "Creatives to Watch". Michael's most recent films are winners of 4 Sundance film awards over 3 years in different categories. Michael recently wrapped production on the Netflix Original TV Show Forever, directed by Regina King and Mara Brock Akil.
Most recently, he received a Critics Choice Awards nomination for Best Cinematography for his work on the 2024 documentary Daughters.
